As of this writing, 15 police officers in the U.S. have been killed in the line of duty just this year (the No. 1 cause: gunshots; No. 2 is auto accidents). This site is an attempt to catalog all of them; not just recent deaths, but going back in time, too, to honor those who gave their lives to protect ours. So far, that's 17,414 ...and counting. The site also includes "Reflections" -- a place to share memories of the fallen officers.
