The site's stated goal is to survey "the interstices of art and medicine, death and culture", and it certainly succeeds. From skeletons, to "The Art and History of the Death Mask", to old engravings of anatomical theaters by way of animals preserved for posterity in formalin, this creation of a death-obsessed graphic designer and photographer Joanna Ebenstein is strangely alluring even to a necrophobe like me.
