Mint makes it easy to keep track of your finances in real time. It reminds you of payment due dates, alerts you to unusual activity, and lets you see exactly where that discretionary income is floating off to. The service is free and secure -- even anonymous. They make money by offering credit and bank alternatives, but this is no nagware. Mint doesn't actually mint money, but it just might help you save some green. (VF)
