A service of NASA, JTrack is a java-based tracking screen that shows you where various satellites are. The space station, for instance: you do know there's guys up there right now, right? When might it fly over your house so you can see it? And plenty of other things that move across the sky. The JPass Generator will allow you to set up e-mail notifications of when the station (or the shuttle, once it gets back into service) will pass over your house when it's dark enough to see it. I've used it many times to show people the station; it's really easy to see when you know when and where to look.
