The recent fun "strine" articles in True prompted a reader to send this one in: a "dictionary" to translate The Queen's English to American English. The author is Scottish, and he "discovered a bewildering array of words which are in common use on our side of the pond and invariably mean nothing at all or something exceedingly rude on the other side."
