English-to-American Dictionary

The recent fun "strine" articles in True prompted a reader to send this one in: a "dictionary" to translate The Queen's English to American English. The author is Scottish, and he "discovered a bewildering array of words which are in common use on our side of the pond and invariably mean nothing at all or something exceedingly rude on the other side." His original 15 words have grown quite a bit into a pretty big, and pretty interesting, site.
