Citizen Scientists

OK, so you've changed to all fluorescent bulbs, you faithfully recycle, and you bring your own reusable bags to the supermarket. But there's one more thing you can do about climate change, and it's fun and educational! Become a "citizen scientist" and collect and report data on the plants in your own backyard, along your hiking route, wherever you happen to be. Even if you're not convinced about "global warming", this project from the Wilderness Society is still for you, because the data collected will be used to help land managers make informed decisions.
