"Even if YOU don't know what faith you are, Belief-O-Matic knows. Answer 20 questions about your concept of God, the afterlife, human nature, and more, and Belief-O-Matic will tell you what religion (if any) you practice...or ought to consider practicing." Note this is on a "spiritual" site, so there could well be bias in the results (note the bit about what you "ought to consider practicing"), but I trust in your intelligence to see through that, if it's there. I went through and answered the 20 questions as I thought an atheist might. The result showed how closely my answers were like those of 27 faiths. The top 10 shown: "1. Unitarian Universalism (100%), 2. Secular Humanism (97%), 3. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (91%), 4. Liberal Quakers (85%), 5. Theravada Buddhism (82%), 6. Nontheist (82%), 7. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (71%), 8. Neo-Pagan (67%), 9. Baha'i Faith (65%), 10. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (56%)". I tried hard to act atheist and "nontheist" came up sixth, with only 82% agreement to my answers, well behind (at 91%) mainline protestant? As with anything to do with faith, your mileage my vary, but it should be thought-provoking.

The God Virus: How religion infects our lives and culture
by Darrel W. Ray
Amazon Price: $10.85

The Portable Atheist: Essential Readings for the Nonbeliever
by Christopher Hitchens
Amazon Price: $11.01
Customer Review: Let me begin by stating that I am not an atheist. However, this is a great anthology on matters of faith (or lack thereof) by some of the best historical nonbelievers. I'd advise anyone reading it to jump straight into the sections on Hume. Hume i...
